About Me
Greetings. My name is Ian Rudy and I am a student at Susquehanna University majoring in both Computer Science and Advertising.
I plan to graduate in 2024 and am considering furthering my education at graduate school.
When I’m not at college, I work as a livestream technician at a local church, handling the cameras and graphics for the service which they stream online for those who can’t go in person.
As a computer science major, I have experience with a number of different programming languages, including C, JS, Matlab, Python, ARM Assembly, and Java. I enjoy coding in C, and have created a few games and demos on the Gameboy Advance. Matlab is great for numerical computing, and Javascript is of course useful for the web.
I am currently working on a demake/partial-port of the Sega Genesis game “Columns” for the GBA, but I have also posted my own original game on this site, which you can find in my featured blog posts. I have also dabbled in coding for virtual reality using WebXR and JS; you can find an example on my portfolio.
As you might be able to tell, I enjoy computer graphics. I was thinking of studying graphic design, but I decided to go with advertising instead, which still includes a bit of graphic design.
If you’re interested in learning more about my work or things I have done, please take a look around the website, as there are a number of examples I have posted.
